# 1 June 7-11: COUNTY FAIR
It’s time for a summer blast off and what better way to spend it than by having our own County Fair. All week long we will feature special activities, including a water gun shoot ing gallery, watermelon seed-spitting contest, popcorn party, and yard sale. This week’s a winner!
Bring a friend on Friday to experience camp for just $15. We will have our own carnival with cotton candy, a moon bounce, funnel cakes and more!

# 2 June 14-18: FORT WILDERNESS SURVIVAL
Picture it now, you’ve courageously battled your way through hostile country and unimaginable dangers and now have arrived; but, will you be able to survive? This week you have a chance to join the likes of Daniel Boone and Davy Crocket as you build forts and practice survival skills in team competitions.
The Friday field trip will explore Harpers Ferry and the C & O Canal!
#3 June 21-25: PIRATES OF THE ANTIETAM
Join the Knights, Pirates, and Buccaneers as they find a treasure more valuable than gold. Experience the adventures of the Antietam with treasure hunting and water battles.
For the Friday field trip experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains while horse back riding at Elk Mountain Trails!
# 4 June 28- July 2: CIVIL WAR
Lights, Cameras, Action! As we celebrate July 4th the stage is set. We will learn about the men and women who have helped make our country great. Historic characters will make suprise visits to various classes. Another high light is an afternoon tea party with our American heroes. The adventure class will be making raids, led by such characters as George Washington, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee. This week’s focus is on drama, movie making, and our fight for freedom!
The Friday field trip will travel to the War Memorial Splash Pool and the Antietam Tower.
# 5 July 5-9: AROUND THE WORLD IN FIVE DAYS
Hold onto your hats, ‘cause we’re going on an amazing international tour! We’ll be traveling to Mexico, China, Africa, Hawaii and India. Every day will feature exotic foods in baking, multicultural crafts in art, and unique games from all over the world.
This week includes a Thursday night campout. The Friday field trip will go to Adventure Park USA for laser tag, roller coasters, bumper boats, and more!
# 6 July 12-16: CRAZY CRITTER
It’s time to have fun impersonating animals of all kinds! As a special treat, Shanks Exotics Petting Zoo will be here all week with different animals to pet and hold! Another highlight is the turtle race, greased pig and duck “shooting” contests. Bring your pet on Friday for a Show & Tell!
The Friday field trip will go to Catoctin Zoo!
# 7 July 19-23: SPLISH SPLASH
Prepare to get wet! We will use our pool and slip-n-slide to beat the heat with water games. Tournaments will feature inner tube polo & water jousting, wacky noodles, watergun & waterballoon blasting, and water obstacle course.
For the Friday field trip cool off with an ice skating trip to Frederick Sports Arena.
# 8 July 26-30: INDIANA JONES
This week pushes campers to their limits with daily tournaments! Our woods become a jungle of excitement as we play new adventure games in the spirit of Tarzan and Indiana Jones.
For the Friday field trip explore the Antietam Battlefield and the Burnside Bridge!
# 9 August 2-6: WILD WEST
The West is a favorite theme at camp. Watch out for afternoon cowboy raids! We will enjoy the annual Stagecoach Game, Wild West shootouts in drama, and other spur- jingling fun! We will enjoy a Super-Soaker shootout, hayride, and sling shot contest.

# 10 August 9-13: SUPER SOAKIN' SAFARI
The hot days of August will be met with flood of water both at the creek & in the woods! We‘ll have Super-Soaker battles and barge warfare! There will be plenty of water battles and aqua adventures!
The Friday field trip of the week will be to the War Memorial Splash Pool and the Antietam Tower.
# 11 August 16-20: FINAL FLING
It’s time to close out the summer in high style! We will again feature special events each day, including bingo, “beach party,” inventor’s contest, and special tournaments. May the summer go out with a bang!
