# 1 June 11-15: AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS
Hold onto your hats, ‘cause we’re going on an amazing international tour! We’ll be traveling to Mexico, China, Africa, Hawaii and India. Every day will feature exotic foods in baking, multicultural crafts in art, and unique games from all over the world!

# 2 June 18-22: FORT WILDERNESS SURVIVAL
Picture it now, you’ve courageously battled your way through hostile country and unimaginable dangers and now have arrived at the fort. Will you be able to survive? This week you have a chance to join the likes of Daniel Boone and Davy Crocket as you build forts and practice survival skills in team competitions.
FOR AGES 7-13: Campers on the Friday field trip will experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains while horse back riding at Elk Mountain Trails! Friday Riding is available this week.
# 3 June 25-29: PIRATES OF THE ANTIETAM
Join the Knights, Pirates, and Buccaneers as they find a treasure more valuable than gold. Experience the adventures of the Antietam with treasure hunting and water battles.
FOR AGES 7-13: The Friday field trip will be a pirate adventure with island exploring on the West Virginia river!
# 4 July 2-6: MOVIE MAKING
Lights, Camera, Action! Step back in time as we travel through history and celebrate July 4th. We will learn about the men and women who have helped make our country great. This week’s focus is on drama & movie making, with a live show on stage! This week will teach us who we are as Americans and the sacrifices that have been made for our freedom!
FOR AGES 7-13: The Friday field trip will travel to the War Memorial Splash Pool and the Antietam Tower.
# 5 July 9-13: COUNTY FAIR
Step right up! Get your tickets! We hope you are ready because you will experience Antietam Recreation’s own County Fair! All week long we will feature special activities, including a water gun shooting gallery,
watermelon seed-spitting contest, popcorn party, and yard sale. We will have our own carnival on Friday with cotton candy, a moon bounce, special games, contest and more! This week’s a winner!
FOR AGES 7-13: The Friday field trip will be exploring the West Virginia river! Friday Riding is available this week.
# 6 July 16-20: CRAZY CRITTER
It’s time to have fun impersonating animals of all kinds! As a special treat, Shanks Exotics Petting Zoo will be here all week with different animals to pet and hold! Another highlight is the turtle race, greased pig and duck “shooting” contests. Sign up to bring your pet (5 & 6 year olds bring stuffed animals) on Friday for a Show & Tell!
FOR AGES 7-13: This week includes a Thursday night camp out for girls only. The Friday field trip will go to the Catoctin Zoo!
# 7 July 23-27: SPLISH SPLASH
Prepare to get wet! We will use our pool and slip-n-slide to beat the heat with water games. Tournaments will feature inner tube polo, water jousting, wacky noodles, water gun & water balloon blasting, and water obstacle course.
FOR AGES 7-13:The Friday field trip will travel to the Waynesboro Splash Pool. Friday Riding is available this week.
# 8 July 30-August 3: INDIANA JONES
This week pushes Indiana Jones contestants and their pursuers to their limits with daily tournaments, games and contests! Our woods become a jungle of excitement as we play new adventure games in the spirit of Tarzan and Indiana Jones. Will you take the 2012 Indiana Jones title?
FOR AGES 7-13: Friday Riding is available this week.
# 9 August 6-10: WILD WEST
The West is a favorite theme at camp. Watch out for afternoon raids as the outlaws of Big Jim take on the law men of Antietam Recreation! Enjoy the annual Stagecoach Game, Wild West shootouts in drama, and other spur-jingling fun! We will have the Super-Soaker shootout and hay ride.
FOR AGES 7-13: This week includes a Thursday night camp out for boys only. Friday Riding is available this week.
# 10 August 13-17: SUPER SOAKIN' SAFARI
The hot days of August will be met with a flood of water both at the creek, field, and in the woods! We‘ll have Super-Soaker battles and bridge/barge warfare! There will be plenty of water battles and aqua adventures!

# 11 August 20-24: FINAL FLING
It’s time to close out the summer in high style! We will again feature special events each day including bingo, a “beach party,” inventor’s contest, and special tournaments. The summer goes out with a bang culminating with our Friday night Final Campfire!
