We are pleased to announce that we will have three family fun days his year, May 8th, 12th, and 13th.  A Parent workshop will also be held on May 12th.

Time: 

9:00 am.- 1:30 pm: 

The activities begin at 9:30! (you will not be admitted until 9:00).

 

Cost:  

The cost is $10 per person and $4 for the workshop.

 

Bring:

  • A picnic lunch including a drink, or money to buy it.

  • Bathing suit worn under clothing

  • Tee-shirt for over any two-piece or low cut bathing suits

  • Towel and change of clothes.

    You may want to label your personal items so that they don't get lost.  It is very possible that students will get wet at the boat slide, boating and creek activities so please wear old creek sneakers.

    Tee-shirts are available for purchase and the snack bar will be open with drinks, hot dogs, snow cones, etc. throughout the day.

Other Information:

  • This information may be passed on to other home school families. Feel free to photocopy for friends, church, newsletters, etc.

  • For best results have the registration form sent in by April 15th. If no space is available you will be notified by phone and your payment will be returned.  You may register at the door, if space is available. It is suggested that you call first to see if there is still space before coming a long distance. 

  • Only one form per family please. 

  • Make checks payable to "Antietam Recreation."

If you have a Home School Group of 20 or more, other dates may be reserved for your group!

  

 

 

 

 

Do you need some encouragement in raising Godly sons and daughters? Well this is for you!  We can say from personal experience that if you come to the May 12th workshop, you will get answers from the only book that truly has all the answers, the Word of God.  Mrs. Becky Wyand a long time home school consultant, educator and grandmother is the workshop speaker.  With enthusiasm and humor she will tell you what you need to know to be an effective home school parent.

 

This is something you do not want to miss! The cost is $4.00 per person.
